Tools in Fantasy Life are equipment that assists the player for every non-combat related life.
There are 8 different types of Tools in Fantasy Life.
Pickaxes, Axes, Fishing Rods, Frying Pans, Hammers, Saws, Needles and Flasks.

How to Obtain[]
- From crafting using one of the crafting-oriented lives (Crafting Lives).
- Alchemists provide Flasks.
- Blacksmiths provide Frying Pans, Hammers, Needles and Pickaxes.
- Carpenters provide Axes, Fishing Rods and Saws.
- From shops that are all over the world.
- From enemies Drops and Bounties.
- From treasure chests that are all over the world.
- From NPCs. Such as King Erik Stone.

For demonstration the amount of points in Cooking is obtain by the following formula:
Cooking = Focus + ((Dexterity + Intelligence) / 2) + Equipment Bonus
If a character is equipped with:
- Frymaster 2000 of normal quality with no additional special effect its equal to 54 points.
- Five Star Hat of normal quality with no additional special effect gives +4 Focus.
- Five Star Outfit of normal quality with no additional special effect gives +4 Dexterity.
- Gold Bangles of normal quality with no additional special effect gives +1 Intelligence.
- Five Star Shoes of normal quality with no additional special effect gives +4 Focus.
- It has 60 points in Intelligence.
- It has 80 points in Focus.
- It has 63 points in Dexterity.
- It has God Cook Licence +24 Focus and +12 Dexterity.
Then de number show up on the Life Stats Coocking will be:
80 + 4 + 4 + 24 ( ( 60 + 1 + 63 + 4 + 12 ) / 2 ) + 54 = 236
Special Effect[]
