Joyeuse is a powerful longsword which was introduced in Fantasy Life. It is believed to be the Legendary Weapon that was used by the Legendary Paladin, but it is now stored inside the treasure box in King Erik's Chamber.
The crafted version is the best longsword in the base game.
Obtaining
Master Chests
- Only one copy of the weapon can be acquire like this. Complete the storyline of the game and reach the Master rank in Paladin, Blacksmith and Miner Lives to unlock the Master Chest in King Erik's Chamber. In that chest there is a Joyeuse with 88 power.
Crafting Recipe
- Reach Hero rank as a Blacksmith and go to Waterfall Cave. Talk to Durandal in the Cave of the Talking Sword at the end of the dungeon to obtain the crafting recipe.
Trivia
- By looking closely in Pam's Storage Room, you can see a Joyeuse among the other items.
- The sword is referred to as 'she' by Durandal when he gives the player the recipe and asks to 'revive an old friend'.
